Takeo had been chasing a hollow all day, and he was starting to get really annoyed because no matter how fast he ran, the hollow seemed to go a little faster. Takeo had always been known for his speed, but this hollow was a lot faster, and what's worse is it was heading straight for the Karakura highschool, where they were just letting out and children were all along the sidewalk.
Takeo ran slightly faster, and finally caught the hollow, jumping onto his back Takeo pulled his blade up above his head, and impaled the hollow right in the back of his head where the other end of the blade came out of the hollows face. Takeo was glad he didn't have to kill it from the front in fear that it may have been someone he knew.
Takeo knew he must have looked like anidiot sitting there on the ground with a sword in his hand, and his shinigami clothes didn't help him at all. He blushed slightly and stood up, and started walking as if nothing had happened. Takeo walked into a park and as he passed a huge oak tree he sensed spiritual pressure somewhere around him, maybe in the tree, maybe not. "Anyone there?" he asked looking up in the tree.

Kin jumped down from the tree, Shikai clearly in effect. Coming down from the tree was a large hollow. Although Kin did not look frightened at all. A slight smirk came upon his face as a few of the shards united into a pure white sword and skewered the hollow.

"Shatter..." He muttered in a gentle voice

The sword shattered, along with the hollow. His Shikai deactivated, and the shards united and became a full sword in Kin's hands. Kin sheathed the sword and turned around, noticing his captain. He gently smiled and softly spoke

"Hello, Capain Musashi! I didn't notice you there, I guess I was kinda busy"

Takeo looked up at the tree, and he saw his lieutenant come down from the tree with a hollow on his tail. Though Kin didn't look too nervous, Takeo pulled his zanpakuto out a little, and watched as he finished off the beast. Takeo smiled slightly and walked up to Kin as he turned and spoke to him. "Hello Kin." he added "I knew I sensed a strong, farmiliar spiritual pressure here." he laughed slightly "So what are you up to?" Though Takeo and Kin were only a captain and lieutenant, they were also really good friends.

"Oh nothing, just on a little patrol." Kin said, "Eh, there's nothing really much to do anyway back at the Sereitei. Rukongai's okay, nothing much there. So I decided to come here." He added.

"Yeah." The wind blew and Takeo looked up into the sky. He sighed "Life can get pretty boring." he looked back at Kin who was standing in front of him and he smiled. "So you wanna' play a little game?" Takeo smirked "Let run around the city, and kill as many hollows as we can.. and he must stay together. The one who kills the most hollows before sunset wins." he looked across the city, and he figured they had about an hour or two before sunet. Plenty of time to kill a few hollows.
